Life is so complicated and relationship require such chess playing.
Ok. So I'm going to hawaii for 6 days. Many might know, many might not know, most probably won't. I might do a daily journal like I did for europe. I just might have internet access but probably not ;3.
Just as a basic background. I'll be in Hawaii for 6 nights on the Kauai island of Hawaii. Its one of the less populated island and hopefully less commercialized. We are staying at the
Waiohai Beach Club Resort, it should be pretty cool. And all I'm going to do is lay there and hang out. I'm so happy cause we are staying in a two bedroom something, which means that I will be able to sleep and rest nicely, since my dad's snoring is going to be far far away.
My family, last time we were in hawaii, visited the big island and then Oahu and Honolulu for much longer. My family really enjoyed it. So another opportunity came up and my mom took it. But even though hawaii is really great I'm really hoping for a less commercialized version. I think it takes a lot of strength to sell something that important to yourself. I know I couldn't sell my culture like that. But we have heard rumors that we should rent a 4X4 when we go to kauai because the roads aren't as good as other places, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

maybe you wouldn't sell out your culture, but it's not like the native hawaiians really chose to.
i went to kauai!! it was my favorite island. you do not need a 4*4 at all. We stayed at this amazing tiny hotel, kind of tiny but really nice and totally not like when we later went to the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu. I love Hawaii... it reminds me of India :)
